How do I set Clearpay up?
You will need to visit the Clearpay site, following their sign-up instructions.
You will need to have a UK bank payment card - Amex, Visa, or Mastercard Debit or Credit Card. Other eligibility criteria apply.
Where can I use Clearpay?
Cleapay is currently available in select Halfords stores and garages, we don't currently offer Clearpay online.
Am I eligible for Clearpay?
Clearpay is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+ (excluding Channel Islands) with a UK billing address.
Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to use Clearpay or create a Clearpay account. Other eligibility criteria may apply and for further information please see Clearpay's Terms of Service.
How do I apply for Clearpay?
Download the Clearpay mobile app, set up the Clearpay Card, and use the Clearpay Card with Apple Pay or Google Pay to make a contactless payment at check out! You will repay us the amount in 4 instalments.
How will my payments work?
Clearpay will split the total value of your order into 4 instalments payable every two weeks. You will receive your payment summary once you have successfully transacted.
If you would like to make additional unscheduled payments before they are due, you may log into your Clearpay account to make your payments early. Clearpay will then adjust the amount owed accordingly.
You can log in to your Clearpay account anytime to view your payment schedule or make a payment before the next due date.
Is there a limit I can spend on Clearpay in a store or garage?
Your maximum order value depends on factors such as being a new customer or your payment history. Please contact Clearpay for more information.
What happens if I want to return or exchange the item I've purchased with Clearpay?
Our standard returns policy applies to Clearpay payments.
When the refund is processed, any upcoming payments you have to Clearpay will be cancelled and any payments you have already made will be refunded back to the card you paid with. Until your return has been accepted, you are still liable for any outstanding Clearpay payments.
