Product recalls

A product recall is when a manufacturer requests a product return after the discovery that the product has safety issues or product defects that might endanger the consumer or put the maker/seller at risk.

Tetroseal Easi-Sprayer

We have been made aware that some stock of the Tetroseal Easi-Sprayer (767462) store is missing parts and we will be contacting those customers affected shortly. Should you have any concerns regarding your item please return the item to your nearest store for a refund or exchange.

Shimano 11 speed HOLLOWTECH II road cranksets

We have been notified that there is a potential bonding separation issue on the following items which were sold between 1st June 2012 - 30th June 2019:

ULTEGRA FC-6800,
DURA-ACE FC-9000
ULTEGRA FC-R8000
DURA-ACE FC-R9100
FC-R9100-P 11-Speed Bonded HOLLOWTECH II

We have identified 1661 bikes that have been sold with these units on and the additional 15 cranksets that have been sold individually and we will be actively reaching out to customers to inform them of the potential issue with their crankset.

Should you have any concerns about your crankset please do not use your bike. Not all cranksets will need to be checked and we will be in contact to ask you to check the serial number at the base of the crank. If the serial number is the same and you are impacted please bring your bike into the store to have the crankset replaced free of charge.
