Bike XChange - what happens to my bike after I sell it?Once we ensure your bike is safe to ride, we will then re-sell it in our stores as part of our pre-pedalled bike scheme. You will be contributing towards reducing waste and giving someone else the opportunity to get joy from your old bike. For more info on the pre-pedalled bike scheme, click here.
Bike XChange - how do you pay me?After the assessment we will offer you a price for your bike based on age, condition and any repairs required - your bike will be graded either "A, B, C or recycle" (note: all balance bikes will be recycled through one of our charity partners).

Bike XChange - disagreeing with a valuationThe valuation service is free and there is no obligation to sell the bike to Halfords if you are unhappy with the valuation. You can take the bike home with you after the appointment if you do not wish to commit.
